The Area

We are located in the greenest part of the Mani which for the rest of it is famous for its barren landscape. In winter and spring, however, an unbelievable amount and variety of blossoms and flowers is being produced, like over 100 species of wild orchids.

In the vicinity you can find various beaches, partly even in summer deserted, which fulfill any kind of desire.

Ancient sites like Mystras and Monemvassia, the famous caves of Pirgos Dirou or the high mountains of Taygetos are easy to reach destinations for a day’s tour.

Swimming, diving, windsurfing and kite surfing, fishing, hiking or mountain climbing is some of the activities that you can indulge in besides S&M.

In the nearby village there are a few taverns and a small shop for your basic supplies, a wider range of everything you can find in the little towns of Areopoli and Gythio.

The average daily temperatures are in summer at 30-32 Celsius, in winter around 15, in April and November at 20, in May and October around 25 Celsius.
